Lara's Special Adventures

Lara has been very lucky with the change to alert level 3 she was able to visit with her nana.  She has been very busy in the outdoors and enjoying a different space to play and explore as her Nana has a home nestled amongst lots of beautiful bush. She had a lot of fun making a fairy garden that she decorated with colourful rocks.
Lara has been doing lots of feijoa and guava picking with her siblings and helping her dad stack and gather fire work for her Nana for the upcoming winter.

  1. Fairy Gardens sound like fun Lara and I bet you enjoyed making jewellery with all those beads. Great that you have been helping to do jobs picking fruit and getting wood for your nana she will appreciate it with the weather turning colder.

  2. I am so pleased that you were able to visit your Nana - you must have really missed her these past 5 weeks. She has a beautiful house and lots of interesting bush to explore - I can imagine you spending many exciting hours in it. Do you have a photo of your Fairy Garden to share ? I would love to see it. I really like feijoas ... when I lived in Auckland we had heaps of feijoa trees and the fruit grew to be the size and weight of cricket balls !
